Final adoption by Parliament of the second part of the law against illegal downloading on the Internet is near. The Senate has approved two Hadopi this Monday, September 21, in the version developed by the joint commission.

According to AFP, the opposition (PS, PCF and the Greens) voted against the majority (UMP and Centrist Union), for, while the RDSE (including a majority of senators of Radical Left Party) was shared between abstention and voting in favor.

Also according to the French agency, if Frederic Mitterrand, minister of Culture, regretted "controversies unreasonable, disproportionate," some of the elected opposition, they denounced a flashback and a criminalization of downloading. "Piracy is theft", for its part has said Jean-Pierre Plancade (RDSE).

The text must now be adopted by the National Assembly tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 22. The obstacle course of the law against illegal downloading will not stop as long, since referral to the Constitutional Council is scheduled by the opposition.

The high court had partially censored the original text, Creation and Internet, which had forced the government to floor on Hadopi 2, to entrust the only judge the power to impose the penalty of disconnection.
